Glass by Vicki

Glass by Vicki was an idea born in the Fall of 2004.  I started painting on glass ornaments as presents for all of our friends and their children for Christmas.  I received so many compliments on the ornaments and had so much fun painting them that I decided to try painting other glass items as well.

Since then, I have painted glassware for gifts, church fairs, bazaars, craft shows and I have even had a couple of Home Parties.  But I mostly paint glassware for fun.  It’s something that I truly enjoy and something that gets my creative juices flowing.

All of my glassware is delicately hand painted by me and no two pieces are exactly alike.  Each item is decorated with high-quality paint created especially for glass.  This paint is non-toxic and food-safe.  Once painted, the individual glass piece is cured and baked for durability.  All glassware is top-shelf dishwasher safe, however, as with all fine glassware and dinnerware, hand washing is always recommended to extend the life of the piece and abrasive soaps/materials should never be used.
